Indaleni Girls Bid the Rev AW Cragg and Family Sad Farewell. By Mademoiselle.

Farewell concert given at school in honour of Rev AW Cragg, Mrs N Cragg and Miss HF Girdwood, a teacher for 11 years. The rev Cragg retires after 21 years service at Indaleni. He has now been made Secterary of the Methodist division of SA. Many European guests from Richmond were present. Recital of Izibongo by Victoria Mnyandu, a student at the High School. African Art. Through the New Education Fellowship Conference in Joburg, attention of public been drawn to African Arts and Crafts. The Bantu World depot for the sale of Arts and Crafts is making progress. Some weeks before there will be sufficient stock to open the depot, consignments of goods are now arriving. Some beautiful Swazi meat dishes, walking sticks and shields have been sent by Mr Dhlamini of Mbabane. Lovely hand woven rugs from St Hildas College in Natal arrived.

Who’s Who. Paramount Chief Sobhuza II and his councillors returned to Swaziland on Monday.

A grand competition dance will be given by two well known gentlemen. MR Motlhamme, member of the Highlander Time Dancing Club and Mr R Malelu, member of the Rustenburg Dancing Club in the Inchcape Hall Palais de Dance on Weds 8th. Joining fee 2s 6d. Cash prizes of £4 will be rewarded to best four dancers.
