Good Christian Passes quietly. Mrs Lydia Majozi lives exAmplary noble life (by “mademoiselle”)

Friends and relatives of Mr W Mda of Bizana will regret to hear of passing of his daughter (same details as above). On March 4 the funeral of Mrs Lydia Majozi took place. Leaves her husband, three sons, three daughters. Chiefs mourners were etc. Wreaths were given by Mesdames Alice Xolo, Christian Ngcobo, A Zungu, Elijah Ndlovu’s daughters Misses Elsie Mtshali and R.D. Mazibuko. The Rev James GH Xaba conducted the service amidst a great gathering of Manyano women in uniform in respect of their companion. Rev XAba spoke of good life lived by the deceased. He said the late Lydia Majozi’s life had been a lamp in the mission station right from when she was still a Miss Lydia Mazibuko to the present time of motherhood. She had pledged herself to follow Christ not by words only but by thoughts and actions, humility her chief character. He went on to say her efforts in doing right were manifested in good brining and teaching of her family according to Christian Rights. At the request of Mr VE Majozi, a photograph of the funeral was taken by Miss RD Mazibuko. Richmond, Natal.
