This year in the intermediate Department Mr TA Ngubane has the assistance of Mr George Sindane. AT the beginning of the year the number of children in Primary School has grown tremendously, therefore expansion of school buildings being considered. The Primary school has for its staff Mr MA Majozi, Messrs R. Kubheka and Geo Kumalo (a music lover). Misses Louisa Nyide, Rose Sioka, H. Tshabalala and H Sikude. Our visitors for the weekend were Mrs LJ Mthembu (Durban) who had come to mourn her sister (late ) Mrs Lydia Majozi. Mr Percoval Cameron Kumalo left Mrs and Mr D Moshe in Durban to come and see his uncle the Rev JGH Xaba at Indaleni. Mr Kumalo was entertained at the Girls High School on Saturday evening by the Bantu Staff and the lady Principal. He has left on Monday for Durban via Maritzburg. The Women’s Manyano of Indaleni districts circuits will assemble at Indaleni MS on Good Friday. The Maritzburg NNTU Branch meeting is also planning on meeting at Indaleni sometime in May.
Tennis has been at a standstill because of wet weather.
It has definitely passed by the Methodist Conference that our beloved “Maweni” (Rev AW Cragg) Suprintendent and Principal of Indaleni Girls High School will be leaving us in July. We shall miss him indeed.
Obituary: Friends and relatives of Mr W Mda of Bizana will regret to hear of the passing away of his daughter Sylvia Mda at Grey’s hospital, Maritzburg. She was a promising young student of Indaleni Girls High School in Std VIII.
